| Flashpoint Pictures is directed by Christian Michaels. He has been working in the field of commercial photography since 1982, after graduating from Wake Forest University with at BA in Psychology. He learned the art of photography by doing it, starting at catalog studios in Dallas, then by working as first assistant and studio manager to award winning photographer Eric Meola in New York City. Michaels moved his operation to Los Angeles and finally San Diego in 1989, where he has been since. He has been creating commercial imagery for photo agencies and Fortune 500 companies since that year as well. Agencies include Getty Images, Iconica, and WorkbookStock. Christian Michaels has also been featured in many exhibitions. FlashPoint Pictures was developed in 1998 to not only help market distinguished imagery, but to also offer commercial virtual tour services through Immedia and photography studio rentals at Ray Street Studios.
